I bought this book for my mom when she was coming to visit us in Los Angeles. She is NOT the “tourist” type so I thought this would be perfect for her. It turned out that it would really be more useful for a new resident than for anyone visiting for less than, say, a month. If I were going to a new city for a lengthy visit, I would definitely buy NFT, but I don’t think it’s quite right for someone coming for a shorter visit.

NFT Los Angeles 2008 is a greatly informative book for the new LA resident or, yes, even the tourist!
Helpful for finding all streets and points of interest throughout the LA area. Great for those new to the area. Use for walking OR driving.
